NCRGC Discipline events DO NOT qualify towards concealed carry permit renewal.

Please visit the Larimer County Sheriffs website for a list of certified instructors that can assist you with your renewal. Several approved instructors are also listed on our Firearm Instructors page.

Club members who seek training for a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit must receive that training from a ‘Verified Instructor’ as required in Colorado HB24-1174.

Roundtable Discussion on Colorado Gun Laws for NCRGC members (Held on 4/21/25)

The Club hosted a Roundtable Discussion on Colorado Gun Laws on April 21, 2025 from 6 - 9 pm at C.B. & Potts (1441 E Horsetooth Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80525). The discussion was considered a social event for the Club and party trays and non-alcoholic drinks were provided. The roundtable focused on recent laws concerning concealed handguns, training, storage of firearms in a vehicle, etc. We also shared information on existing laws relating to large capacity magazines, open carrying of firearms, etc. Members that were interested in attending this informative social event, needed to RSVP as there were limited seats available.

As a reminder, the Club is an 501c7 social organization and as such we are not allowed to engage in political campaigns, lobbying, or advocacy. That said, the roundtable was viewed as a social event to share information.  Some of you might remember that years ago, the Club used to host quarterly social events and bring in guest speakers and that was what the Board was trying to do here.
