Rimfire Carnival

11th Annual Rimfire Carnival
What a great day at the range! The 11th Annual NCRGC Rimfire Carnival (First Shots second round event) was another huge success, bringing together 156 attendees for a day of shooting, fun, prizes, and camaraderie. This year we welcomed 105 shooters, 25 spectators, 19 Range Safety Officers, and 7 family members, making for an outstanding turnout and a very busy day at the Rifle Range.
The Rimfire Carnival has become one of NCRGC’s most popular annual events, and it takes a tremendous team effort to make it happen. A special thank you goes to our 19 Range Safety Officers, who volunteered their time and worked throughout the day to keep everyone safe while ensuring the shooting activities ran smoothly. We also greatly appreciate everyone who helped with setup, registration, lunch, the shooting stations, prizes, cleanup, and the countless other tasks that go into hosting an event of this size.
We are also extremely grateful to our sponsors and supporters, whose generosity helped us provide more than $5,000 in door prizes and giveaways. Their continued support of NCRGC and the shooting sports plays an important role in making events like the Rimfire Carnival possible and allows us to provide an affordable, fun, and memorable experience for our participants.
Most importantly, thank you to the 105 shooters who came out and participated. The Rimfire Carnival is all about having fun, trying different shooting activities, spending time with fellow shooting enthusiasts, and promoting the shooting sports in a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment. Seeing the range filled with shooters, volunteers, families, and spectators is what makes all of the work worthwhile.
Thank you again to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, donated, or helped behind the scenes. Another successful Rimfire Carnival is in the books, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
