Archery

Archery Chair: Ryan Callies - archery@ncrgc.org

We maintain an open friendly atmosphere with distances and shots to accommodate beginners and experts!

The NCRGC has multiple ways for members and the public to enjoy the archery discipline and hone their skills. Members can utilize our outdoor range with hanging targets at 10yd interval up to 50yds along with our elk silhouette. Field points only unless broadhead targets are provided or brought along!

Keep an eye on the calendar for public open range time in early spring and fall to help hone skills and provide shooters with broadhead targets.

3D Archery Events-Public Welcome starting May 11th 2024!

What is 3d archery

The club is excited to bring back 3D archery in May 2024 for both members and the public! Our 3D archery course will utilize the hillside past the lower tactical bays including a warm-up area in bay 5.

While the design will evolve our goal is to create realistic and interesting shots utilizing the natural environment in a continuous trail layout. Our spring course will utilize 12 shots over 4-5 stations including distances for traditional and compound shooters. As the season progresses we will increase distances and difficulty to hone hunting skills and challenge expert shooters (50+yds, obstructed views, downhill, ect).
