8th Annual Rimfire Carnival

The 8th Annual Rimfire Carnival was a huge success! From stage design to preparation, parking to registration, food preparation to door prizes, this premier Club event took over 250 volunteer hours to execute, not including the enormous amount of hard work that it took to get the Rifle Range back in shape prior to the event. 167 people attended the event including 104 shooters which is a new Club record. We gave away over $4,000 worth of door prizes including three rifles, which were all donated. I want to personally thank the 11 Range Safety Officers (RSOs) who volunteered their time and talent to ensure a safe and fun event. Over 20,000 rounds of 22LR were fired down range without incident. Additional thanks go to Chef Casey for grilling 144 amazing cheeseburgers and 88 dogs and to Terri for serving them to the attendees along with 160 bags of chips and 336 bottles of water. My family always plays a huge role leading up to and during the carnival and I greatly appreciate their support (thank you Sharon and Megan). Special thanks go to the Rocky Mountain Young Marines for helping us with parking and logistics prior to the event. Everyone was impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. Finally, I want to thank all the shooters and wonderful sponsors including Ruger, USA Liberty Arms, Scheels, Chippers Lanes, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Erin and Jason Pruett, Buck Tools, LLC, and the Northern Colorado Rod and Gun Club. This is truly a family event, and I am honored to be a part of it. See you next year!

Thank you, Don Spencer, for taking some awesome photos of the stages.
