Get ready, get set…go! The 7th Annual Rimfire Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10 am to 3 pm. This safe, family friendly event is open to the public and there will be 20 stages including bowling pins, aliens, playing cards, pencils, ducks, murder hornets, Army men, zombies, billiards, and more. Each participant will receive raffle tickets at check in good for numerous prizes, including firearms! Stages are set up to accommodate both rifle and handgun in .22 LR only (no centerfire). All firearms must be unloaded and cased (no holsters) until you are on the firing line under the direction of a Range Safety Officer. Please bring 200 rounds (or more) of .22 LR ammo as each stage is a max of 10 shots. $15 admission includes lunch. Club members can receive $5 back at registration when they show their badge. This event is limited to the first 100 shooters who register and pay. Spectators are welcome to attend providing they sign a waiver. The 6th Annual Rimfire Carnival was a huge success! 80 shooters participated in the event which is a new Club record. We gave away 140 swag items during the raffle including two beautiful Ruger 10/22 collector series rifles with American Flag synthetic stocks, which both went to young guns. Special thanks go to the 15 RSOs who volunteered their time and talent to ensure a safe and fun event. Additional thanks go to Chef Casey for grilling the brats/dogs and to Terri and Leslie for serving the chips, cookies, and drinks. My family also played a special role by helping with the registration and raffle. Special recognition goes to the Club members who donated raffle items, constructed target stands, and assisted me with setup and tear down. Over 250 volunteer hours went into this premier event.
