The Board of Directors encourages spouses of Regular members to apply for their own badge. Doing so will allow you to come to the range without the Regular member, bring children that are part of the household membership, bring up to 2 guests per visit, etc. As the spouse, you are considered the Associate member and you are entitled to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of the Regular member with the exception of the right to vote on matters concerning the Club or to hold an elected office.
To be eligible for a spouse badge, the Regular member must have included you on their application and you must meet the definition of a spouse. You will have to certify that you meet this definition on your application. Obtaining a spouse badge is a two-step process. First, you must attend a safety orientation and second, you must complete an application by a specified date.
Safety orientations are only held in August and September of each year and you do not need to RSVP to attend. There are no makeup dates so please check the calendar for dates/times and be sure to let us know when you sign in that you are here to obtain a spouse badge. Following your attendance at a safety orientation, then you must complete an application (in that order please).
To maintain your spouse badge, you must complete an application every year by a specified date, just like Regular members. If you fail to meet the deadline, you will have to start over by attending a safety orientation. Questions should be directed to the Member Services Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
