Interested in joining the Club?

Welcome to the Northern Colorado Rod & Gun Club. The maximum number of Club memberships is 800 households as determined by Larimer County and we are currently at maximum capacity.

Our members renew in July and we normally have over 100+ openings in August so there is plenty of room for new members. Similar to concert tickets, our membership spots are offered on a first-come basis until all open slots are filled. Open enrollment begins on August 5, 2024 at 7 pm so you will want to come back to this webpage on that day and time and complete your payment and application.

In the meantime, we encourage you to participate in our public shooting events. The Club calendar has all the specifics and we offer rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery events. Weather permitting, there is something going on almost every weekend. The Club has a lot to offer and the wait is worth it.

Thank you for your interest in the Club. If you have additional questions, please email our Member Services Coordinator at You can also request to be added to our reminder notice for open enrollment.

Sincerely, NCRGC Board of Directors

Household Membership

The Club offers one type of membership--a Household membership is offered to:

  1. Adult 18 years of age or older who can legally possess a firearm,
  2. Their Spouse (by marriage or civil union as recognized under Colorado law), and
  3. Any children under 18 years of age (by blood or adoption, who are residents of the Adult's household, including a ward or foster child).

The adult is designated as the Regular member and the spouse is designated as the Associate member. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a badged Regular or Associate member at all times while on Club property. Badges are issued to Regular and Associate members who complete a waiver and agree to follow the Range Safety Rules. Unexpired badges are club property and MUST be returned if requested upon suspension or early termination of membership. Failure to return badge(s) upon request may result in disciplinary action that could include cost of re-badging entire membership. The Board can set additional requirements for the issuance of badges (e.g., required safety orientations for new members). An Associate member is entitled to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of the Regular member with the exception of the right to vote on matters concerning the Club or to hold and elected office. Badges are non-transferable and must not be shared.

Dues & Fees

Membership Dues ($150). These are the annual membership dues. Membership runs from September 1st through August 31st of the following year.

Capital Improvement Fee ($150). This fee is charged to new members only for the first year. The fee is your share of all the improvements that have been made over the years.

Range Cleanup Fee ($125). This fee is charged during membership renewal to current members who did not participate in at least one range cleanup during the past year. By Board of Directors decision, the June range cleanup (first Saturday) is the last time that members receive credit for the current year. Other special range cleanups in June or the July normal range cleanup goes towards next year's cleanup commitment.

Lost Badge Fee ($25)

Instructor Program Fee ($150). Separate application process for current members only. Program runs from September 1st through August 31st of the following year (same as Membership).
