The Steel Challenge match for February 27th is officially canceled due to weather and tactical bay conditions. The next Steel Challenge match will be held on March 27th. Let's hope for more favorable conditions, see you then!
Larimer County is no longer at a RED status for COVID-19 alerts so we are back to holding the Steel Challenge match on the 4th Saturday of each month! There are still a few COVID requirements (please see below). Please come out and join us! The match is open to club members and the general public. Cost is $15.00. Minimum age is 14, strong side draw or low-ready only allowed at the firing line. Firearms must be unloaded when brought to the firing line, and must be unloaded before leaving the firing line. No handling of firearms is allowed away from the firing line.
Always keep in mind that this event is pending weather and range conditions. If a match is canceled, there will be a message on the club answering machine: 970-282-1648. (Note, no match is canceled until late the day before - ever optimistic!)

The gate will be open by 8:00 AM, and we will start shooting as soon as the match is set up! (Typically, around 9:00 AM.) Due to COVID-19 restrictions, mandated by Larimer County, we can only allow the first 15 shooters, no nonparticipants allowed. No water can be provided, social distancing still applies, and a mask will be required at the firing line. (By both the shooter and RSO.) This match is approved through the end of the year for our once a month event, 4th Saturday of each month.
